Complete Route Maps & Travel Itinerary
1st Day: Haridwar/Dehradun – Barkot (200km/7-8 hrs)
Meet our driver at Haridwar/Dehradun Railway Station/Airport/Hotel/Home. Arrival Should be
before 12 PM, then only transfer same day to Barkot via Mussoorie, enroute visit Kempty Fall
In Mussoorie, later drive towards Barkot. On arrival at Barkot check-in the hotel & overnight.
Stay at Barkot.
2nd Day:- Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (36 kms drive and 6 km trek one way)
Early morning after breakfast (packed breakfast), drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti & start the trek.
from here to Yamunotri (6 km) (either by walk or by horse or by doli at own cost. After taking
bath in Jamunabai Kund’s warm water and having “Darshan” of “Yamunaji” return to
Jankichatti by trek. Later drive towards Barkot, overnight stay at Barkot.
3rd Day:- Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 km/3-4 hrs)
The morning after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Check into the hotel upon arrival in Uttarkashi. After
Refreshment: you will visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi, later back drive to hotel and
overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
4th Day:- Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km / 3-4 hrs each side)
Early morning (packed breakfast) drive to Gangotri. En route at Gangnani take a holy dip in
GaramKund, further drive to Gangotri via the beautiful Harsil Valley. Harsil is famous for its nature
beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees and mountains. On arrival at Shree
Gangotri: take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin.
Perform Pooja and Darshan; after that, relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Later drive
back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
5th Day:- Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220 km/7-8 hrs)
The morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh & Lambgoan. En route you can see the
beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath, drive
Along the river to reach Guptakashi, visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check into
the hotel arrival in Guptakashi. Overnight stay at Guptakashi.
Day 06:- Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30 km drive and 20 km trek one way)
The morning after breakfast drive to Gaurikund and start your trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (by
Pony / Doli / Helicopter at your own cost). Visit Kedarnath Temple. After temple Darshan
Overnight stay at Kedarnath.
7th Day: – Kedarnath – Guptkashi
Next day Early morning take pooja at Kedarnath Temple and trek down to Guptakashi. On
Arrival at Guptakashi: check in the hotel and overnight stay at Guptakashi.
8th Day:- Guptkashi – Badrinath (200 kms/6-8 hrs)
In the early morning, after breakfast, drive to Badrinath via Chopta and Ukhimath. Check in to the hotel arrival
in Joshimath. Pilgrims after having darshan of Narsingh Temple in the evening. Overnight stay
at Badrinath Dham Hotel.
Day 09: Badrinath – Srinagar (180 km/6-8 hrs)
In the Early Morning, pilgrims, after having a bath in the Tapt Kund, have the Darshan of
Badrivishal & Aarti in the evening. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors
(Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti,
Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of
Badrinathjee. After Pooja & Darshan come back to Rudraprayag/Srinagar via Joshimath and
Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.
Day 10: Srinagar – Dev Prayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar/Dehradun (130 kms/2-4 Hrs)
After a healthy breakfast, check out from the hotel for Haridwar. En route, visit Dhari Devi
Temple, Dev Prayag & Rishikesh. And proceed to end the divine trip to Haridwar. On arrival
final drop at the guest place for the onwards journey.
